So there was an early Feedback Friday this week, to allow hunters from timezones that would normally be asleep, to watch and shout out. And this causes an early Mibbler-edition. It does! ^^
* Feedback Friday
On beforehand Michele S. had announced in her Mailbag thread – like she does each week – what the questions would be about: “This week – Questions For Franco!”
Questions for Franco? Now what would that be?! @.O
A hunter had made up this question especially for Franco: “In the tower, why does trap luck decrease only on the profile page but not the camp page when the amplifier is below 100%? And why does it not increase in either place when the amplifier is above 100%”
Would Franco answer it? Or not?…
For a long period during FBF there only was the Fantabulous Franco-reference to Ghostbusters: “There is no lag, only Zool”
In Mildred’s words there was not much to report from FBF, safe the prospect of timers on the Travel page that they are working on. I myself do rather like that unique header images for each area are on the radar… But Dave warns “We have a large to-do list, so bear that in mind. We stayed up all night and worked on a huge update that will be coming on Monday.”
There, just on a sidenote, still a bit interesting perhaps? Just so you all know it: Dev-time soon-ish there will be a new update coming… And: TarataTara, Who you’re gonna Call? Yes! Feedback Franco!
Be warned: with opening the Mailbag, the real Franco-FBF-episode starts. Anybody fan of Franco? Go read the reports and enjoy the weird possibilities, the many ‘Ifs’ and “Buts’… quite Frankly: enjoy the madness!

==== Forum Features: What’s keeping hunters busy? ====
* The Lead is getting smaller…
Not that she watches the scoreboard much, but Terri S.-P. just noticed that Kristian S. is gaining rapidly on Jennifer R. A few measly million points and we could have a new number 1!
So Terri proposes to cheer Kristian on: GO KRISTIAN! GO KRISTIAN!”
Cheering to be done over here: http://bit.ly/bknrX8
* The new timer * new: now even newer! *
We reported on this timer in the last Mibbler, and its now even better as by popular demand, it now contains all 3 timed areas. :)
Then last thursday this new fantabulous Timer ran into a road bump. For currently unknown reasons (possibly because of excessive number of users simultaneously accessing the Timer), Google Docs had shut down the Combined Timer. Luckily its up again! :)

Note to all:
Use this currently working temporary backup web version of the timer until I figure out a long-term solution to the problem with Google Spreadsheets crashing:
* The First Ballot Winner is… * drumrolls *
Draw held on September 22, 2010
Prize Awarded: 500 SUPER|brie+
Winner: Cindy L.
Congrats to Cindy. And for us: You can find the daily winner by clicking on the little link inside the Ticker announcement that brings you to the Draw-page: http://apps.facebook.com/mousehunt/draw.php
But how does that daily draw work? Where are the specifics? And when does my Ballot expire?
Dev Mark explains: “Each day there is 1 draw. It ends at 12:30pm EDT (16:30pm UTC). When it ends, 1 winner (multiple winners is planned for the future) is picked from ALL the ballots received, and another Ballot-period begins right away. The previous ballots are no longer valid. You need to get new ballots for each new draw.”
(Please don’t ask me to explain when exactly 12:30pm EDT (16:30pm UTC) will be in your own time zone. i have not even a clue about my own timezone! @.@ )
By buying 1 ‘sb+priced’ ticket a day… we will thus spend 365 of sb+ pieces a year on a chance of getting 500sb+ in one go. Sounds like a good deal if you spread it like that. Ofcourse the gold spent during that year, still would end up being: 1.825.000 gold.
No one doubts the free give-to-friends-Ballots will be the best! We are expecting them to return (and be fixed) coming Monday… :)

==== Rumors, Opinions … and Stories ====
* If EVERY mouse went into a fight…
Jeffrey Z. D. wondered what would happen if 2 or three mice went in a fight: who would win? And if every mouse got into a fight, who do you think would win? Jeffrey asked hunters to please tell him why on eparticular mouse would win as well.
Ofcourse EVERYONE knows that the white mouse would win :p
But some hunters have a very good reasoning for betting on the Terror Knight Mouse ^^ And the current last poster, that coincidentally for now has the final word, says this: “But I’m going for the Healer mouse. it keeps healing itself whenever it gets hurt. And all the other mice die of exhaustion.”
Do you have a clue? or a good guess? Tell us!
Not sheep no. He he :)
Ever watched Sesame street? I always love them counting lessons… Anyways, no need for Sesame street, as we can the counting on the Discussion Board today! Pay attention: it got rather difficult just before we reached 20 :D
* Last but not Least: the coolest Mousehunt Tools-bar ever! :)
Always difficulties when searching for your trap? Go use the newest Mousehunt Tools-bar, by David K.:
= = = = = Cookies & Credentials = = = = =
Thanks to Mildred A. K. and to Judith, who sortoff encouraged me to do some FBF-research ;p)
Todays cookies … are the Ghost Sugar Cookies!
And don’t forget to call Franco ^^
# Anybody who has news or wants to write a (fluffy) piece but not a whole Mibbler, can send the copy or the idea, or even just the interesting thread-adress… to my pm-box :)
# No News, no Mibbler, as there is a a very strong-headed non-fluff person on the board of advisors.
# No Fluff, well – we have to warn you here – but in case of no fluff we might accidentally still post a Mibbler with strong warnings of putting on your sunglasses first before reading.
# If no crew: no Mibbler. Which is really really sad. Luckily there’s always the possibility of posting your news or news-related question in the last Mibbler’s thread.
